On January 23, 2013, in Ventersdorp, on the initiative of Piet “Skiet” Rudolph, the members of various organizations came together to commemorate the birth of Eugene Terre'Blanche (31 January 1944), the historic Boer leader who was murdered in 2010.
Flowers were laid in memory of the Reverend Coenie Snyman (the former “chaplain” of the AWB), and at the AWB Memorial, which commemorates the Boer martyrs killed at the Battle of Ventersdorp and during the Conflict in Bophuthatswana.
